Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) relies on robust APIs and standards to enable

In this course, you’ll start with an overview of MEC standards and the ETSI standardization
programme, including the latest developments and principles behind API design. You’ll
explore core APIs such as Radio Network Information, Location Services, UE Identity,
Bandwidth Management, and Multi-Traffic Steering, as well as APIs for WLAN, fixed
access, V2X, and IoT. The course also covers application management interfaces,
including lifecycle management, package management, and application descriptors (AppD).
Next, you’ll dive into advanced topics such as MEC federation, support for slicing, security
and regulatory considerations, and best practices for QoS measurement. You’ll learn how
MEC integrates with 5G networks, including traffic steering, local access to the 5G data
