Wray Castle and IEEE enter Strategic Partnership; Launch online 5G Virtual Lab Training Program

3 March 2025, New York – Wray Castle, the leading provider of technology and business training to the global telecoms and ICT industry, announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with IEEE, the world’s largest te
chnical professional organization advancing technology for humanity. Together, Wray Castle and IEEE have launched the 5G/6G Essential Protocols & Procedures Training and Innovation Testbed, offering specialized training that provides a deep dive into essential 5G protocols, with a specific focus on the 5G Network Function (NF) Framework, registration processes, and Packet Data Unit (PDU) session establishment.
The course includes three-month access to the IEEE 5G/6G Innovation Testbed, a secure, cloud-based 5G network testing platform that provides hands-on experience and reinforces theoretical knowledge. It also offers a 6.5-hour, on-demand, self-paced online course with illustrated digital course books, expert instructional videos, guided exercises for signaling scenarios, Wireshark (pcap) output files for deep system insights, and access to a virtual training expert. After successful completion of the program, learners can earn an IEEE Certificate bearing seven (7) Professional Development Hours (PDHs).
Andrew White, Group CEO at Wray Castle, said, “The innovations enabled by 5G/6G networks will redefine industries and economies to form the foundation of tomorrow’s connected society. Through a strategic partnership with the IEEE, Wray Castle is equipping future technologists with the expertise to lead this transformation.
