Course Summary
Indoor DAS (iDAS) is used to improve radio coverage, capacity and service quality in buildings and enclosed environments where macro coverage is insufficient or unreliable.
This two-day overview gives participants a practical understanding of how iDAS solutions are designed, assessed, optimised and modernised. It is relevant to commercial mobile, neutral host, enterprise/private 4G/5G, rail and critical communications environments.
The course deliberately includes rail, transport and critical communications applications, including stations, depots, tunnels, TETRA/PMR environments, emergency services coverage, public mobile services, GSM-R/FRMCS migration context and future mission-critical broadband considerations. The emphasis is on practical awareness rather than detailed engineering design.
