Integrated Defence Communications & C4ISR Training Portfolio

Dettagli del corso

Descrizione

This portfolio brings together nine specialist courses organised into three structured Learning Paths, progressing from core communication architectures through to advanced C4ISR, AI, and multi-domain information superiority.

Each path is designed to build capability step-by-step, starting with essential technical foundations, advancing into contested-environment resilience, and culminating in strategic-level integration and command-centric architectures.

Learning Pathways

Each Learning Path focuses on a specific capability theme, with courses that build logically from fundamental principles to applied mission scenarios. Together, they give defence professionals a complete understanding of modern communications - from broadband and SATCOM integration to tactical resilience and advanced C4ISR.

(1) Next‑Generation Mission Networks (Foundational)

Develops core technical understanding of broadband, 5G, and SATCOM architectures that underpin modern multi‑domain missions.

Courses:

  • Mission‑Critical Broadband & Interoperable Comms: Foundations of mission‑critical LTE/5G, interoperability (MCX, PMR, TDL), and contested‑environment resilience.
  • Hybrid Private 5G & MCX/PMR Interworking: Tactical private 5G design, slicing, and interworking with legacy systems.
  • Multi‑Orbit SATCOM & Terrestrial Integration: GEO/MEO/LEO trade‑offs, hybrid architectures, and SATCOM resilience under jamming.

Target profiles: Signals engineers, network architects, comms planners.

(2) Tactical & Edge Resilience (Operational/Tactical)

Focuses on protecting and sustaining communications in contested, degraded, and denied environments.

Courses:

  • Spectrum & PNT Resilience for Defence: GNSS-denial mitigation, A‑PNT technologies, cognitive spectrum manoeuvre.
  • Cyber & Zero‑Trust for Defence Networks: Zero Trust in tactical and OT/ICS systems, PQC readiness, supply-chain threat response.
  • UAS/C‑UAS Comms & Tactical Mesh Networks: Comms for UAS swarms, resilient MANET/mesh design, counter‑UAS comms strategies.

Target profiles: Programme managers, cyber/EW specialists, tactical network leads.

(3) Strategic C2 & Information Superiority (Advanced/Strategic)

Enables senior leaders and technical authorities to design future-ready C4ISR and data-centric operational systems.

Courses:

  • Future Combat Cloud Architectures: Multi‑cloud, software‑defined C2, data fabrics, SDN/NFV resilience.
  • AI & Data Fusion for Mission Networks: AI/ML for edge inference, anomaly detection, federated learning in DIL environments.
  • C4ISR/EW Integration & Open Architecture: SOSA/CMOSS/VICTORY compliance, multi-domain sensor fusion, EW impact on C4ISR.

Target profiles: C4ISR analysts, R&D leads, acquisition/procurement officers.
