Description
This course is designed to provide participants with a good grounding in the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in telecoms and connected innovation. Through a combination of theoretical concepts and practical applications, participants will gain a solid foundation in AI and its various subfields, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and robotics.
We then focus on the use of AI in telecoms, including driving more efficient, and greener, networks, and how AI and the associated Machine Learning models will be supported within evolving telecoms architectures – including supporting significant use cases like the Metaverse, Intelligent Transportation, and Autonomous Driving (amongst others).
We explore how telecoms supports AI in wider industry, and its powerful fusion with IoT concepts to form the AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) – looking at how AI drives innovation across various industries, supporting concepts such as smarter cities, more efficient manufacturing, and even personalised healthcare.
By the end of the course, participants will have a stronger grasp of AI concepts and techniques, and their real-world applications in telecoms. They will be equipped to pursue further studies in AI or apply their knowledge to diverse domains where AI plays a significant role.
