Course Summary
This course presents an overview of the 802.11 family of wireless LAN technologies that are more commonly known as Wi-Fi. The course introduces the various forms of Wi-Fi currently in use and looks in detail at the structure, operation and functionality of Wi-Fi connections. It then examines issues related to the integration of Wi-Fi access into cellular provider’s portfolios and techniques that allow interworking between the access environments.
